They did not give me to taste wine. The most lauded wine is white wine. Hacienda de Casa Madero, the oldest wine cellars in America. The tradition began in 1568 when Spanish Conquistadores left Zacatecas for what is now Coahuila in search of gold, and in the middle of the desert they found no gold but a true oasis with springs of water and a great profusion of wild vines. This privileged valley is today known as the Parras Valley.
