I consider myself very lucky to have Dr. Ybema, a fantastic neurologist at Borgess help manage my strange neuro disease. I'm also very fortunate to have Borgess able to administer and manage my infusions to treat this strange affliction. I no longer have to drive 2 hours to U of M in Ann Arbor, spend 5 hours getting drugs pumped into me and then drive two hours back.
We should all be grateful that we have two hospitals in our community, considering that millions of people across the world don't have access to even basic health care. EVERY hospital has its pros and cons. I'm grateful for what this hospital has done for me and my family.
