The fact that such a huge building and important monument doesn't have two entrances dividing groups from individuals is hilarious. Also, why place in the site that free admissions can skip the line and directly go through entrance A when EVERYONE in reality has to wait in the line for the entrance A. I would expect better management from such a famous and well visited monument.

If the weather is bad, be prepared to not see the gardens at their full glory, the statues are covered and the trees are bare. Also, the waiting line is huge and combine that with cold wind and rain, really not a good idea.

The interior of the palace is worth it though, for sure. Lots of history and you get a good hang of how the royal couple used to live.
