My experience with a real estate representative na...

My experience with a real estate representative named Ryan with this "agency" was a complete waste of time. It felt like negotiations were all one sided for a rental. All I wanted to do was meet, sign paperwork, hand over the deposit, get a receipt, move in, not difficult. I make decent money with verified income, more then enough to afford this place without issue, my credit score is excellent, I've been with my employer for years now with good references and a great reference from my former realty company that can state I've never been late on a payment after being at my apartment for years. All they kept pushing for was money to be sent ASAP in the amount of over 4k combined in the form of cashapp and a cashiers check to the renter even though I've only met them for 10 mins. I understand that the timeline was short for this deal, but things need to happen that makes both parties comfortable. I know COVID plays a HUGE part in face to face meetings, but when you are closing a deal with people you don't know, would you send a combination of a cashier's check and cash app to people you've only met for literally all of 10 mins? I can't make this stuff up! They only have 1 other online review which has absolutely nothing to do with real estate, their "main office" at 1616 fairmount looks like a small apartment building that is actually for sale by their own agency!!! Why are you selling your main office that has no business signage what so ever? Just a for sale sign in the window, google map it I can't make this up! Ryan's cell phone number has an area code that is from the state of Colorado but yet he told me he was from New York? If you google their other "offices" other real estate agencies names pop up like KW reality like their office at a suite # 500 which I had to google. Again I can't make this up. Also we all know that beaches are literally horrible to go to now a days due to COVID, but when asked if we could meet in person to finish the deal, he didn't really want to meet in an office setting due to risk of COVID but he was going to the beach for a vacation and asked me to meet with another guy who I never met before and hand over 4k since he was leaving at 10am? O, and not meet his guy in an office no no no, but on the street in front of one of their "offices". The whole situation was shady at best, be careful with this agency and do your due diligence!!! And if they try to even say that any of this is false I have the whole text transcript to prove everything I am writing!
