If you enjoy a variation of small plates with delicious dishes and don't mind getting to know the other guests around you this restaurant is a must in Porto! It is rather cozy - reserving beforehand is advised.

Porta 4 consists of a single room for a maximum of 14 guests and also includes the kitchen, which let's you wonder how they are able to create dishes that are on point in timing. And on point they are - delicious and interesting combinations of small plates (which are more akin to small main courses rather than tapas). We where particularly impressed with the codfish on hummus served with mini asparagus. The service is excellent, welcoming and the wine recommendations went very well with the food we ordered. The chefs menu for 2 with appetizers, 3 dishes, desert and wine was below 50 - which was an absolute bargain given the quality of the food and service.
