Update: I saw the owners response and submitted more info on all that happened via email the very day they wrote this on my review. No response, not even an acknowledgement of receipt. Typical run around to save face on the internet with no intention of doing anything

I had an outpatient procedure at this Hospital. When I woke up from surgery I was in excruciating pain. I had to lay there begging for pain relief. It took quite some time before I was given something to control the pain. While in recovery, the patient next to me was brought in from surgery also wailing in pain, This was also very upsetting and caused a great deal more angst. I thought most hospitals and surgery centers understood post op pain, and would try to keep you comfortable after surgery, as most surgeries are painful if anesthesia is involved. I wrote letters about my entire experience and spoke with someone in the surgical area. I received a letter back stating my care was "appropriate".
Waking up in pain after surgery is not appropriate.
I would never have any other procedure done here.
They are much kinder, and treat you with dignity at JFK North. Worst outpatient experience I've ever had.
