We recently just moved to Tx from East coast about 1 month ago, my husband did his own research on which one to get for our first home security ever, obviously he picked Smith Thompson home security for the reason that they are the cheapest in town, hubby says they are all the same anyway, providing you home security, he didn't care much about other techy things that other providers had, more things added, more money to pay he says. So installation guy came in, was very friendly and helpful, and very accommodating, he even changed the location of our motion detector because it was being blocked by a curtain rod. Everything went smoothly, and quickly as far as the whole process of installation, we were provided with a certificate asap upon request for our home insurance guy. But wait, this is not even the highlight of my review. So on day of installation we didn't have our permit yet, Jason, guy that installed the home security reminded us to have it asap, so hubby applied for it asap. But 2 days later, a False Alarm went off, guy mowing our lawn hit something by accident and hit our window, no one was home and we missed the call, so deputy came in and charged us unpermitted false alarm. Called Smith Thomspon and emailed Marc Thompson as well, they were very helpful, took their time to hear us out, not only that they advised us what we needed to do, they also went out of their way to resolve our problem. And for us, being newbies in this state and town, we needed that kind of services. Exactly what they are, a "FRIENDLY and DEPENDABLE FAMILY OWNED, P BUSSINESS", who will take care of you because they appreciate your business, simple as that. FYI, according to our research, they haven't increased their charges for the longest time, and they are still in Business, so that has to mean something good. More power this awesome company.
