The Oasis is an iconic Texas venue, much like Gilleys, Gruene Hall, and Billy Bob's. This complex has grown from a restaurant/bar to 3 restaurants, several bars, boutique store, and office space. The multi-layer decks overlooking Lake Travis now boasts umbrellas to block the late afternoon sun. If you are a tourist, this is a must-do... If you are a native Texan and you haven't been in awhile (in decades, like me), it's time to go again. The food has greatly improved, albeit a bit pricey. The view hasn't changed... The sunset was just as beautiful as I remembered.
