UPDATE: we got refunded despite the packaging being opened (which may say something about how they cannot explain how their product works). Now they have launched a product called Novita H-MIST22 - probably the same questionable science.
ORIGINAL: Called the customer service number and told no scientist working at the firm. Questionable science behind the Novita H-Mist02 (supposedly functions as disinfectant spray) and they cannot explain it satisfactorily over multiple emails and calls. Overall reaction of the electrolysis of water just gives oxygen gas and hydrogen gas. Hydroxyl ions in water and hydrogen ions in water is the same as water (look up "self-ionization of water"). What you spray out is oxygen gas, hydrogen gas and water! Even if there is momentarily higher hydroxyl ion concentration, that's basically the same as using warmer water (look up "ionic product of water" at different temperatures). Complete rip-off and gives people false sense of security.
