I felt patronized and marginalized. No good explanation was given to me as to why my 25k mile service (estimated to take 2.5 hours) lasted for 5 DAYS including the weekend--a weekend when I was entertaining guests from out of town.
I brought my car in on Thursday morning. I got a call Friday lunch time suggesting they change my tires, too. Fine. But, I informed them, I wanted the car that afternoon. I get call Friday 5pm telling me to "get comfortable" in the non-Audi rental car. Reason: They were "behind". Uh... Pep Boys could do a faster job.
My impression is that my service was down-prioritized based on who knows what... age, race, pushiness? In any case, I felt marginalized. Not what one would expect from a Fletcher Jones/Beverly Hills outfit.
I won't be going back...
