This is the worst online store i have ever dealt with!
They never respond and i am pretty sure their manager dosen't exist because i have been told he will contact me and he never does. I have ordered 4 times in the last few years and every time has been a disaster it's actually disgusting!

Okay selection, mostly friendly and helpful staff - but if you're wondering why people shop online - it's because you don't have to overhear against your will a middle-aged dude ranting about "fake homeless people with iPhones". Mate. Stop. A secondhand smartphone on pay-as-you-go is a cheap but entirely essential item. It's mobile access to banking, benefits, email, job searches, family, mental health facilities. It's probably the last thing a homeless person would get rid of. and probably saves "your taxes" going on in-person services. You sounded like you expect every person sleeping rough to be shoeless, wearing a hair shirt and a barrel with shoulder straps. Save the right wing opinion pieces for the comments section of Andrew Bolt's facebook page. I just want to buy plectrums.

Very dishonest seller.

Very dishonest seller.
I bought a Coles clark guitar from them and have clearly stated to send the me guitar as shown on their ad and also sent a photo on the actual one.
Turns it to be a different one but the seller didn t even care about it just looking for poor excuses. Refused me a refund unless I get some online store credit or loose 20% restocking fee... very dishonest.
If I knew the guitar wasn t the one they promised me i wouldn t have bought it and would have gone straight to a proper guitar shop. Those people are just online seller like on eBay. Have no real passion on music or guitar just passionate with money.

Edit for the shop owner answer:
Yes I have been emailing you for many weeks and you have been lying to me from the beginning.
Do not pretend you want to communicate just to look good publicly when yourself closed the inquiry and offered me nothing but credit store instead of my hard earned money I saved...

Not surprised - as a Contractor did many days of work for John Goldsmith over weekends and after hours. They were always going to pay and in the end John denied everything and we had to go through Debt Collection. Completely untrustworthy.

Wow great start for you guys hey!
made a honest error out of my control on an online order picked it up and within an hour contacted the store to explain the situation Goods still untouched and unopened and asked if I can return the items for a refund and was told most probably not ! don't take change of mind as an excuse! i explained it wasn't change of mind but an honest mistake and was then told if we do agree to take the items there is a 20% restock fee Are you kidding me ? keep this up and you'll end up like before! pretty sure every other music store in Perth who supports struggling musos would have said not a problem! really bad customer service

Poor customer support based on referenced inventory system and not accurate information. Mislead information and poor communication between customers and departments. On a positive note, the staff members are great and friendly people. I trust they can improve customer satisfaction by having more resources and attention to details.

Kosmic use to be a very good store but not now. They are even closed on Sundays now. They are losing a lot of business Glen the tech guy is very rude and does not do his job like he supposed to do. He did not help me with Protools. He should know better. The other staff were also rude particularly the manager and the woman at the front of the store. I just wanted help with installing Protools and got rubbish instead and they make fun of people with intellectual disabilities Also my friend worked their in the past F. And he told me not to go to the store. They over charged me with installing a pickup in my guitar I have a Epiphone guitar. They charged me $100. It takes less than 5 minutes to fix and it should be much cheaper. F told me that last week. To be honest do not go to this store. Go to a better store like Concept or another store. Bad service and bad staff.

Purchased a drum kit from these guys. The salesperson didn't even offer to help me take it to the car. Had to take 5 trips from upstairs to the car-park carrying the kit by myself. Not a great first impression.

My orange terror bass amp was having some intermit...

My orange terror bass amp was having some intermittent power issues. I had some similar issues with it when first purchased that were were sorted under warranty. Kosmic were awesome during this.

So put it in to Grant at EAV to fix. He diagnosed the problem however the distributor for Orange came back with the response "it is a discontinued/obsolete model parts are not available ". It is 3 yes old. So basically i have an amp that is not that far out of warranty that can not be fixed.

After a fair few phone calls to try and resolve this yesterday I went into Kosmic today. Alex L supported me with my original warranty issues and again today. The resolution was store credit to the full purchase price which allowed me to purchase a new amp. I can't speak highly enough of the service provided by Kosmic and Alex in particular.

Support local music shops ... yes u can get it cheaper online but you won't get this after market service online.

The staff are all extremely helpful, kind, and willing to do anything and everything to make sure that what you're purchasing is right for you, your budget, and your music. I never caught the guy's name (or, maybe I did, but I've just totally forgotten), but I had just purchased some studio monitors...and damn, these boxes were huge to carry. I didn't have a car with me at the time.

The extent he went to to make sure my monitors were safe and sound and wouldn't cause me any hassle was amazing. Really made my day even better. Like I said, this guy deserves a raise for his efforts. He was at the counter in the same section with a guy named Spencer, who was also a stand-out employee who really helped me out.

Anyways, the guy who served me, offered to give me a lift after they had shut, so I didn't have to carry the studio monitors all the way from Osborne Park to Cannington. And that's just what he did. Not only this, but he stopped by his place to see if he had any spare cables to give me, as we forgot to get them sorted back at the store. Give this guy a raise. I don't think I've ever experienced such willing and amazing customer service from a person in my life. He also gave me absolutely every bit of info I needed to know about my monitors...to the point where it was much more than any standard person would give you. I know these things almost in and out, now.

Thanks again to everyone who helped me out, today. Much appreciated :)

This store is amazing. They have very great support and their orders come in quickly even considering extenuating circumstances.

This place is the reason I have a Maschine Mikro MKII, a Numark Mixtrack Pro II, a Novation Launchkey 25 MKI, a Shure PGA 48 mic and a roland cm30 cube speaker.

Nice place,very good store.But I had a sales drone...

Nice place,very good store.But I had a sales drone hovering by my shoulder from the moment I entered.Gave me no space at all.I asked for a little privacy as Im not mozart,so he stepped back a couple of paces and stood there staring in silence.
After about half an hour of this bloke shadowing me, I left without buying,I had travelled from Kalgoolie to get a good guitar so it wasnt a decision taken lightly.

Extremely pour service. I ordered a DJ controller on back order. I asked how long it will take to get the controller back in stock. 7 emails later I get a reply that it's going to be late. (It was already late) Would not recommend.

Do not order off the website, they dont have stock and when they order for you, you have to wait. I ordered on june 25, it is now aug 6. It hasent been sent yet, waiting on eta from supplier apparently.

I have been here several times and found staff in the past were judgemental and made horrible comments about your ability, even when were close enough to hear them. My last visit however was rather good. Huge improvement in the treatment from the currant staff. I was offered help on more than one occasion which was really nice. As for stock. Don't go here if your left handed. Good selection if your a drummer. Keyboards are generally expensive as they only keep the higher end options. I will probably go back for smaller items. But my larger final purchases will be made elsewhere due to price.

Just had a guitar repaired at kosmic. high quality result, staff were remarkable, Rohan and Steve in guitars were both friendly and full of knowledge. I won't be going anywhere else in the future. Thanks guys for the great repair job and good sound advice. Cheers D.

I'm sure this store is great to shop in store, but...

I'm sure this store is great to shop in store, but online shopping, has been very disappointing. I have purchased an electric guitar and case, on two seperate occasions online, and had delivered, as I live in another state. Neither protected at all, both sustained damage, especially the guitar case, which has rips in the vinyl, which will get worst fast. Did email, but had no response at all. I have ordered many things online from other companies, and whether they came with free delivery, or not have always arrived in at least bubble rap, or something to protect.

Great staff, no matter your skill level or budget, everyone is treated as what we and the staff are, Music Enthusiasts. Staff will go out of their way to accommodate you from ordering in to service advice. Huge range, cool, 'backstage' feel premises.
Best experience at this store compared to other stores, I drive past 2 others to come to Kosmic.

I had only just recently returned to purchasing my gear through this establishment. I had ceased dealing with them because of a less than positive interaction with Ric who always appears negative, speaks snidely to customers and less is than happy to assist. His behaviour and they way he conducts himself is not helpful. That interaction alone had made me avoid them for majority of this year but I returned due to a positive interaction with one of the younger female staff.
That unfortunately has been all for nothing as my visit today has been again negatively impacted by Ric's rude smart mouth and he wasn't even serving me.
I didn't write a review with the first instance because I figured it might have been a bad day but I now realise for this person it's just standard behaviour due to the consistency of occurrence.
I don't recommend this store to anyone.

We ordered over $1000 worth of MiPro equipment fro...

We ordered over $1000 worth of MiPro equipment from these guys, needed for a seminar we were running. Had 0 contact from them over 2 weeks on the fact that what we ordered was not in stock, and even the stockist had run out of it, and as a result had the issue of last minute hire of gear. Very little contact and follow up once we brought this issue to their attention. Perth staff slow and unhelpful, and online staff didnt do anything unless we called and actually asked, even though we let them know we were on a tight deadline. Extremely disappointing and would not recommend.
