Who goes south from Tampa to Heading for Miami, the Sunshine Skyway Bridge over Tampa Bay also passes by. It is an impressive structure with ramps at both ends to provide clearance for large ships. If you have passed the bridge to the south, then you can turn right to walk on a parallel old bridge section (subject to admission) or drive on with the vehicle. It is mainly fished here, there is a lot of operation, mainly on weekends, mostly it is men with their children who want to bring a good catch home. You should plan a good hour, if you want to complete the bridge segment to the end and back again - but the view of the beautiful new bridge is spectacular and in good weather, it's great fun to let the wind blow around your nose to watch the anglers and the many big birds that each occupy a lamppost.
