Where do I begin playa the ribs, cabbage and oh the mac & cheese taste like they locked up a bunch of southern grandmothers in the kitchen. The first bite of the mac & cheese had me looking to see if my grandmother 3 back there! Then I moved on to the cabbage and the love fest continued as the cabbage had just the right amount of spice and I think butter. Skipping over the ribs and moving onto the cornbread happily and sadly it taste just as my grandmother made it. It was a large slice of cornbread that looked like it was baked in a round pan. I little on the drier side until just like grandma's until you add butter then it's game on. So we are 3 for 3 with everything being great not good but GREAT. Now finally onto the ribs and honestly this how ribs are to be done. The ribs were just barely holding onto the bones. You bite into the ribs and they surrender their place on the bone take up their proper place in your mouth. Have I said this how ribs are too be done yet? The service was spot on and serving of the food for my party of 3 by Erica was great. She was attentive and made sure everything was an extreme pleasure. You WILL get more then you can eat... OK well at least we did. As I ear this review I am BEYOND stuffed and can wait to get home to hopefully finish the rest. Oh yeah before I forget the sauces.... Oh the sauces ahhh the sauces. You must try all of the sauces to find your favorite as you will find 1 or 2 or 3 or 4. If you are within 50 miles of Dixie Bones you really need to stop by and taste this little piece of BBQ heaven.
