We first used Ameritech to install new windows throughout the house. The service was tremendous and even minor issues with dealt with promptly and courteously. The windows not only make life easier, since they opened easily from the inside, but they look great. However, the really great thing was the immediate cost savings from reduced heating and cooling costs. I would say our costs were reduced by about 40 percent. An unforeseen consequence was how much quieter the house is. Outside noise just does not penetrate like it used to. Based on this experience, we asked Ameritech to give us an estimate on front and back outside doors. We went to the showroom and found exactly what we wanted for a terrific price. Again, the installation went smoothly and they have been very responsive to any issues we ve had, even to the extent of replacing the glass on the French doors when it was determined that the wrong product was installed inadvertently. We ve recently received a demonstration of a new product insulation for the attic. I would advise anyone looking for improving their energy efficiency while maintaining a nice looking home to contact Ameritech.
