One of my favorite ways to spend a day off. Get there at opening to enjoy feedings and enrichment activities. Love the tropical house in the winter - a great way to avoid the S.A.D. The Grizzlies, the wolves, and the gorillas never disappoint. Few zoos in the Americas have such a great north woods area. I do wish they'd give the meerkats a better enclosure, and close the elephant exhibit. This is a wonderful zoo to see unusual endangered mid-size animals that enjoy moist temperate climates like tree kangaroos, and lemurs.
