Melbourne Zoo is a good fmaily day out. Its not overly large which makes it a good place to wander round. Yhe size means that you can go home having seen everything, where larger Zoo's sometimes leave you with a chioce of what to see and miss out when the children tire.

Impressive place, although some room for development, including some of the enclosures with the big cats where eother emppyty or very overgrown so you could not see whats in side.
