Absolute NY icon, and must see at Christmas time. It is lovely with all the lights and decorations. We were a touch early to see the tree lit, but it was still impressive. The crowds are huge and that can be obnoxious, but it is worth it to see the plaza fully decorated. It is easy to go from here to see the decorations on 5th Ave as well. Definitely an entertaining diversion in NYC for the holidays.
