If there was less than one star, that's what I would rate Cabela's. I placed an order for a an item online to be "picked up in store", item stating (available/ in stock). With the order stating "usually ships in 2 - 5 days". Order was placed & my credit card was charged immediately. Five days go by & i never received anything, with order stating online "in process". I go to Cabela's in store to inquire about my order, which they have no records or idea of whats going on with my order. They advised me to contact the corporate customer service number, which was to no assistance. I was advised allow time to process, "should ship tomorrow". Another 2 days go by, & I call Corporate customer service again, & they now advise me "to allow 10 business days to go by" & if I still don't receive anything to call back. I still didn't receive anything or update. I call Corporate customer service back, which their solution was to re-order, in which item was in stock at the Cabela's store, & available for same day pick up. When I went to inquire (in store) about my order, thinking maybe It would be available. After explaining several times repeatedly to several other associates (each with a bewildered look on their faces) they were un able to pull order, & stated that they cannot fulfill my order because "they have nothing on their end" Corporate customer service should not have reordered. When I contacted Corporate customer service back, they stated that the "re order" is in process & until it is shipped, I cannot cancel to be refunded. When the whole reason I reordered was because it was available for pickup in store, now, that "I have to wait for order to ship & process" (ship) when I was supposedly in store. It's to the least to say I will not be returning to Cabela's anytime soon. Worst purchase experience from such a large retailer.
