Fair value, close to Atlanta. Don't expect Colorado and expect tons of yahoos on skis/boards that don't have a clue and are reckless. Snow conditions were decent, but did get icy in the evening after folks had pushed the snow around all day (no additional snow grooming in the late afternoon which is typical at small ski areas). That said, my daughter and I had a good time even though the mountain is small and gets repetitive after a few hours. Lift lines are insanely long (20+ mins) on the weekends at mid-day, come early or late. Staff was fine overall, but as another reviewer noted, the management of the lift lines was basically non-existent. The double chair line was a mass of humanity until after 4pm, just chaos. The quad chair line was also a hot mess and had no employee actively pairing groups up to fill each chair, instead the lift operator would stop the lift until the chair was full...that is a first in my 30 years of skiing. At any rate, is it worth coming here? sure...if you really want to ski or see snow (for you Florida people) without getting on an airplane.
