My temp firm was subcontracted by HCI. Absolutely the worst work experience ever due to an abusive project manager. My firm struggled to help but they couldn t get us bus schedules or work assignments. HCI fell short on every promise made to us and their client on a huge project. Considering working for them? RUN AWAY!

The most unethical and morally corrupt company I h...

The most unethical and morally corrupt company I have ever been exposed to. This company places consultants that can't speak English, nor understand anything about EMRs. I have worked with them multiple times and I would say that only 70% of their consultants know anything about the software they are supporting. Clients are consistently being ripped off by this company. Look up on YouTube what happened at the Mayo Clinic with regards to HCI consultants. They should have been sued. Also, the support staff that works there is completely incompetent. They won't pay you for all of the hours you work. They have been sued once for stealing from consultants and they lost. They will get sued again. If you are a hospital CIO there are many other more reputable consulting firms that you could hire that will give you what you need as well as treat their consultants humanely. Just because they quote you a rock bottom rate doesn't mean you are getting your monies worth - if 30% of the consultants you are paying for don't know what they are doing than are you really getting a good deal?

I have very great experience working with the best project managers and Coordinators ever ,Verlitha Reiss,Joseph Capner,Luke Strouse,Urvish Parikh,Nick.kriebe,Kristy Horton,Nick Wilson,Scott Knoll,Randy Grams and Laura Jansen. They have shown me Love,Respect,Care and keep me encouraged in discharging my duties,Making me always happy to work for the organization anytime any day.

Little secret:Be present in your job location,Don't abandon the end-users,Try to understand that contributing your quarter will lead to the success of the entire project. No company wants their project to fail,If its your business or your personal contract how will you handle it to be successful? This must be at the back of your mind.
Do the best you can and see how much love the HCI group will show you. Don't come to the HCI group acting chaotic,Trying to make things difficult for yourself and people around you.

For me and my Family this was our best move yet thanks to the folks who provided the best service we could have received. It was a January move, bitter cold and no one complained or let the weather deter from providing outstanding service.

HCI has its ups and downs but for the most part it is a fairly decent company..my last job with them was the Vanderbilt project and even tho there was an issue with pay which was frustrating I eventually got everything owed to me. I think the issue is with the number of people on the site which makes things difficult . Only thing I can suggest to improve on is a more consistent communication with Consultant and Recruiters

If I could give this company a zero I would. This is by far the worst agency I have worked for. They have no order and are completely disorganized. If you have questions, no one answers their calls and emails. Trainers and hospitals beware . Stay far away from this company.

I wish I could give a zero....Very unorganized.......

I wish I could give a zero....Very unorganized....left us at the airport or in a hotel lobby for hours waiting on a room, with some getting a room after 1am and others not having a room all night long. Terrible at communicating, won't return calls or messages. Very demeaning to staff and will constantly yell at you that you can be replaced or that they have many people at home wanting your job. You have to fight for your pay and many haven't been paid for previous projects, there are lawsuits because of it. I witnessed staff being not only verbally assaulted but physically assaulted and that is simply unacceptable. Shame on you HCI and the leadership of a company who gets these reports and does nothing to make the environment better for staff.

Yet another disappointing employment assignment with HCI. I m still waiting for my check from my last assignment. I am a single father doing the best I can and these people are taking advantage of everybody, not just me! I can t even take my daughter to get ice cream because I am paying for expenses they should have covered! It has been weeks! I highly suggest you look elsewhere for help.

Yeah. They told me I can take the company laptop home to do work, which myself and everyone else did. After 2 weeks I was let go because they have a strict equipment policy. Do not work for these guys. They will manage you out in a heart beat. Can you spell wrongful termination?

If you want to sit on a charter bus in a mall parking lot for hours while waiting for a hotel, this company is for you! This company organizes chaos. Project managers yell at the employees. You may not even have a hotel room when you land for the project. You receive information for the next day at midnight. The communication is severely lacking and I can t imagine how this company receives any contracts. I can never recommend this company in good faith. Beware of HCI. You have been warned.

This company is the least reputable in the EMR consulting industry. Hospitals beware! There are much more honorable companies who will furnish the same consultants, but the consultants will be paid, on time, and will not have to count the money they are paid. Look into the history of this organization, from its overpaid CEO to its growing number of class action suits. Clean up your act, HCI Group.

HCI has not paid their employees for working at #Vanderbilt and #MayoClinic they have not reimbursed their employees for their flights or expenses. The HCI Group is a crooked company, they do not pay for hours word! Beware, they are so nice UNTIL the consultants get to the site and then no response from them.

They want people to work for free and pay for their flights but they get paid from the Hospitals and do not pay the people who worked. They offer RNs and Dee $50 to go to Saudi Arabia, what an insult and if you go, your will not be paid just like the other workers!

#TheHCIGroup is a #SCAM #disloyal #slavery #moderndayslavery #nottrustworthy

I worked for HCI in Oct and Nov 2017. I was not fully reimbursed for flights, vaccinatons and uber fees to support their client. I have left several messages sent several emails. No one from payroll has contacted me.. The staff was unorganized
This is the worst companies for Epic go live I have supported since 2005. I have no other recourse but to file with my attorney or locate the class action.lawsuit that is being eatablished.
