We are new to the State and unfamiliar with Smith Thompson Security which is the security company the previous owners used, so inquired with the previous owners about them. They spoke highly of them and informed us that they had been with Smith Thompson Security after leaving ADT many years back. They explained that the main reason for the change was the advertised $16.95 a month fee, but included that the years of using Smith Thompson they felt safe with this company and the security it provides. Many of our neighbors use the same company, so I thought I would call to inquire. I was pleasantly surprised that I actually got to talk to the owner, Mark Thompson. Mark was very personable. He provided me the answers to my questions, which to me, confirmed the trust the previous owners had with this company. The installer did a great job and was also personable and friendly. It s been three weeks since they installed the security system and it all works great.
