Just yesterday I went to go see Tash Sultana. I think the Gates opened up at six or 630 and the show started at about seven. Evidently the first performance was on sooner than we thought and it was the person that we came to see. We ended up missing most of their performance with the exception of a few songs toward the end. The headliners were still pretty good even though it wasn t anyone either of us were familiar with. For whatever reason there was like a two hour break in between the two performers. Finally the headliners came on and put on like an hour and a half show, whereas Tash Sultana was only probably like 30 minuets. Who is really cool in between the two performances was the Native American spoke to the crowd. I think I speak for everyone when I say that he really touched a lot of hearts with his words. I thought it was pretty cool that there were lights shining on the rocks surrounding the Amphitheatre that had some type of picture on it. One of the rocks looked like it had a cave in it which intrigued me and kept my focus for a while. The climb up to the seating area was slightly intense. More than I expected but once I got to the top, it was okay. Lines for anything were ridiculous whether you were just trying to go to the bathroom or get an ice cold beer. Don t even get me started on leaving the venue. You can imagine how that went just based off the lines for everything else.
