The embassy suites is a nice hotel, conveniently located across the street from seaport village. Where you have a cheesecake factory, the Harbor House seafood restaurant and lots of shops to delight your shopping experience. It is only 3 blocks from the Gaslamp District. This embassy suites is unique in the fact that it has a actual restaurant on site. It still has the traditional breakfast buffet and evening social hour. The staff is very friendly and efficient, from the bellman at the door, to the concierge in the lobby. You can get rooms with either a Bayview or view of downtown San Diego. Which ever is your pleasure, you will enjoy the embassy suites and not be sorry that you stopped there. There only drawback, that I could find, parking is $55 a night for non Hilton honors and $45 a night for Hilton honors members. Just be prepared to pay an extra $45 to $55 on your nightly bill.
