We visited as a weekend away break. We stayed in the YHA (on site) and was able to be in as soon as it opened. We dodged the showers by visiting the domes, and visited the outdoor gardens when it was dry. We were fortunate enough to visit in the winter and managed to see the rainforest garden in the almost dark, when a number of the flowering plants opened. We were almost the first there and the last to leave. It was a fantastic day. We opted to see a couple of the demonstrations, which were well delivered and informative. One of them leading us to buy a new tea we had never had before!

The food in the cafe looks good, but we opted for sandwiches due to the queues. Staff are friendly and helpful, and keen to engage with you about their areas of expertise.
