The Liberty is an outstanding luxury hotel with a unique twist. It use to be a prison! Yes, indeed. Up until 1990 it housed bad guys!

However, now it has transformed into this beautiful place to stay while in the great city of Boston.

The rooms are extremely comfortable and the staff is excellent! In addition, this property has some nice places to connect over terrific drinks and food as well. The names of these establishments also fit into the theme of the hotel as well - Clink, Alibi, The Yard.....

The other nice thing about The Liberty is that the location is perfect. It sits between Cambridge and Boston proper. It is also close to the airport.

Overall it is an outstanding Marriott property and is my first choice always when coming to Boston.
