I haven't personally been to this shop but did send in my Olympus M.Zuiko 17mm f/1.8 lens to them recently. Olympus contracts out their repairs to Precision Camera, so this is where it ended up going for my warranty repair.

I contacted Olympus' support and notified them about my lens being very noisy during video recording when it is auto focusing. Many other people online have experienced this same issue but Olympus doesn't recognize it as a problem. I was a bit worried that I'd just send my lens in and it would get sent back stating that there is no problem. However, Precision Camera ended up making it right by sending me back another lens. It's the same model, but different serial number. The lens that they sent me works great and records video very quietly. I'm unable to determine if the lens they sent is new, refurbished or used, but looks new to me.

The turnaround time took 7 days, from the time they received it to the time they shipped out a replacement. This is the first time I've ever sent in camera equipment for repair so I don't have anyone else to benchmark the turnaround time against, but I'm satisfied.

They must be doing something right if a company like Olympus is trusting Precision Camera to represent them as their repair specialists.
