Over priced, poorly maintained artificial environment. Clearly it does great things for some people. But for us, it was a massive disappointment. On arrival our lodge was dirty and we had to complain to get it cleaned properly. It was also in a generally poor state, with different paint colours on the ceiling, peeling wallpaper and rotten window frames.
Apparatus from breathing and swimming, you have to pay extra for everything and not just a token payment, quite a lot. Food is also very expensive and as you have to park you car miles away, they have a captive audience. The land train took us an hour round trip to our car.
Also, our 3 year old trapped his fingers in the front door, as none of the doors have soft close. The first aid kit was in the car... About an hour away. It's not a child friendly place if you have small children. Probably great if you have 8yr old +. Not for us. Won't be back.
