Spent an hour on the patio today. My wife and I brought a client with us. Sun was shining and the place was hopping. Our server greeted us quickly and provided iced water right away. A slight delay on the menu s but within acceptable limits.

When ordering, the server (woman) was friendly and personable. She discussed the drink options and gave advice on the cold/warm soup. We ordered 2 flat Iron steaks and tuna tacos. What taste. The taco flavor was an instant burst in the mouth. I immediately offered Lori a bit because I was so impressed with the savory mix of tuna and sauce. What a mistake - she ate half the taco before I was able to get it back. The rare steak looked wonderful. I had a taste and noted the sauce was a compliment to the meat/bread. The fries came out hot and well seasoned. All in all I gave the experience 9.5 out of 10.

If anything, I noted a slight level of intensity that may have been driven by the high demand of seats taken. The staff was fully focused on looking after everyone but just a little too much work load to add any extra delight. I suspect within minutes of us leaving the demand would have dropped off and the leisurely visiting I associate the patio with would come back into play.

If I had a choice, I would have called into work and canceled the meetings I would have needed a cab to head home around 4 pm (lol).
