My mother stayed at Elim Park for a few weeks.The amount of work the aides have to do vs how much staff they have are unbelievable. At times there are only 1 or 2 aides working with 20-30 residents on one floor. Its so unreal how many times my mother has pressed her call button and no one to be found. Her nurses needs to be reminded why they are nurses in the first place. They are VERY rude and disrespectful. Dinner is a joke, they do not give enough food they are starving those patients and it is sickening. They went from a 5 star down to a 1 star. Management always tried to please us so we don t bring our complaints further but you can see they dont mean what they say. State needs to re evaluate immediately Elim immediately because it is too much. My mother did not fully heal but we took her home immediately. Could not do another day further. They were never on time with her medication, aides made her feel very uncomfortable speaking another language which i told them multiple times not to, many times they forgot to bring her to dinner. How you forget someone i do not know but they managed multiple times to do so. There were times i had to come to Elim just to make sure she had her meal. Its sad what they do to these residents/patients but something seriously should be done. It is only going downhill from here.
