The Duck Walk is so impressive! This is a beautiful hotel filled with history, but the most important is the Duck Walk. Everyday at 11:00 AM and 5 PM, the Peabody Ducks are escorted from there home in the top of the hotel to the beautiful fountain in the lobby, and it is amazing to watch. About 30 minutes prior to their arrival and departure the red carpet is rolled out, their path is partitioned off and the guards are on standby. You wait impatiently for the elevator to hit the lobby and off march the most amazing ducks. They walk the red carpet together and go right into the amazing Peabody fountain where they swim and play all day, then at 5:00 PM, they are escorted back to their suite. Definitely a must see while visiting Memphis, especially if you have children, although I didn't and I loved it!
