Excellent customer service, good quality product, ...

Excellent customer service, good quality product, value for money, but delivery process can be improved and would be good to have more payment modes.

Excellent customer service: Was undecided and rang a few times to enquire. Darius was the sales rep and was very patient in recommending the type of build and specs that would meet my needs. In fact, he actively discouraged me from getting stuff / parts I would not be needing. For eg. no need to upgrade to the pricier fans with my current set up. The recommendation to go with AMD instead of Intel for multi tasking was also spot on. Appreciated the promo codes as well! When I over-paid by accident, the team was very quick to process the refund.

Good quality product: Worked great out of the box. Looks as good as advertised. I pulled open the sides and saw that the cabling was done very neatly. I was recommended the Fuel build which actually uses the Cooler Master NR200 casing. Many holes so cooling has been very efficient and CPU is very silent. It is as advertised, the casing is award winning and scores very highly across a range of professional reviewers.

Value for money: like for like, much cheaper than getting a desktop unit from the big brands. also liked the ability to customize and the handholding as I decide on what build / parts to get. Touch wood all is working so far, but have heard that service recovery is good and prompt. Good luck getting your stuff fixed in a timely manner at the service centers of the big brands...

Delivery process can be improved: I ordered a dream build on Nov 20, which could actually be shipped out as soon as Nov 21. However, I opted for a Nov 24 delivery date and asked for an early afternoon time. As I was waiting, I was informed at 3pm that they might not be able to deliver on time and would have to deliver the following day on the 25th. However,

Benji was super nice about it and pushed to accelerate the process, so I ended up being able to receive my PC on the 24th as initially scheduled.

Given that the order was placed way in advance, DreamCore should have got it ready at least a day before, so that it would be ready to ship on the promised date. That way, you won't run the stress of having a "just in time" delivery which you might miss.

Also the communication with the courier was not clear. I was told the courier would come after 8, but the courier showed up at 630 at the very window of time when I was not home! Felt really bad that he had to leave and come again at 8plus.

Good to have more payment modes: Would be good if you offered the option to pay by credit card. Understand there are costs involved, but as your business scales, worth considering :).

On the whole, I am a happy customer, and have been recommending DreamCore to all my friends who are the in market for a new PC!
