A must see when you're in New York. Lady Liberty is a symbol of Hope, Love and Freedom not only in the United States but to all Nations. She looks a little small in person but very inspiring. I'm not really a patriotic person but seeing her kinda humbles you and makes you real proud to be an American. With all what's happening in the world today we need her symbol. Our leaders needs to be humble.

Tips:

Tickets are purchased in Castle Clinton in Battery Park

You need to reserve at least 2 months ahead of time to get her crown access....a week for pedestal access....no reservation needed for Liberty Island Grounds

Dont forget a the view from Manhattan

In 2019 the new Statue of Liberty Museum will open...the Copper color near the roof of the building is what use to be the color of the statue before it oxidized and turned green
