Waited late to reserve and was able to get a reservation a couple of days prior to the Easter buffet. Buffet was overall good as far as taste. Most guests were not dressed up, very casual. There was someone dressed in an Easter Bunny costume walking around. Not sure if buffet was worth 70.00 per person (210.00 plus tax for the 3 of us) for Easter. Prime rib was tasty. Salmon display was nice but tasted bland. Heirloom tomatoes did not have a good taste or texture. I liked the coffee as I did see reviews which said the coffee was not good. Sangria was really good. Husband said the buffet was mediocre. Snow crabs were small and had to be cracked by you.... most nice buffets serve them cracked for you. Server-bussers, valets and main lobby staff were nice, attentive and professional. Parking was reasonable...13.00 for 4 hours. Teen daughter liked the sushi, desserts and mussels. Alarms went off while eating. Staff did not budge so this is something which may happening regularly at this hotel and when I asked a staff member he said someone would say something over the intercom if we should evacuate. That did happen and said the alarms going off is not an emergency. There is not any hot water in the restrooms near the Grand Cafe. Staff attendant said that it never works. My husband complained to the manager who said he would get an engineer on it before we left. I used the restroom before leaving to wash my hands. Water was cold.
