The room/hotel was not as expected. We went downstairs to a man (the owner) who when asked for a refund pointed fingers to all but himself, and then denied this.
Confronted him about his customer service after he refused a negotiation through the booking provider, so he says he will call the police if we don't leave, and swore at us as we were leaving.
Then proceeds to still charge us for the trip.
The higher chain management could do nothing to help. The booking provider attempted to soothe the situation but the owner stopped taking her phone calls, and they had no power.
My advise is to book over the phone, without providing a credit card (or preferably don't book at all)
