The palace was beautiful. However, we got there at 9am and waited in line for 3 hours to get in. We bought the Paris Pass, but it didn't include a skip the line pass. We also didn't realize until we tried to leave that the metro tickets we bought in Paris don't work when leaving Versailles. We had to buy train tickets at Versailles to get back to Paris at 3.50 each.
