I have just bought a freshly roasted coffee bean here because I have emptied the bean bag I brought from home. I have just sipped the newly bought coffee before writing this review. To my surprise, the taste is not as expected from a freshly roasted premium arabica coffee beans and I am disappointed. It provided the caffeine kick I need, but not the rich, sweet-fruity flavor of highland arabica coffee I love. I personally think that Papua produces one of the best arabica coffee beans I have ever tasted, but that doesn't apply to these beans I bought from The Boulevard. This may be due to the roasting profile that is a bit too dark? To me, currently it tastes similar to robusta coffee, which is not bad, but costs much less.
