By far the best value suit I own now comes from Herman Bros and Co.

Herman is a very knowledgeable guy and does not rush you through your first fitting.
Herman talks you through the dozens of options at each stage of the process, including jacket and trouser style, lapel width, lining, buttons, etc.

My first suit from Herman Bros came back in about six weeks and the fit was spot on first go. Herman's prices are incredible value when you consider an off the rack suit with alterations would have cost about the same. I'll be returning in a few months to fill out the remainder of my wardrobe and couldn't be more pleased.
