I'm so Disgusted with T Bird Banner. I used to always take me daughter here when she was sick. These last 3 weeks have been a complete NIGHT MERE. I took my daughter to the ER for her Asthma the RT had no bed side Manners and was annoyed that I was asking questions. After he gave my daughter a treatment he told me she sounded perfect. I knew he was lying so I listened to her and she did not sound any better then she did before the treatment. The Dr came in and I said that treatment did nothing she sounds the same. They then gave her a dose of Steriods and a checked on her in 2 hours and sent us home. My daughter did not get any better she like a Rollercoaster good one day and bad the next. Moving forward 2 weeks my daughter woke up Monday morning having trouble breathing. I rushed her to TBIRD they did 3 back to back hour in a half treatments then over night gave her a treatment every 2 hours the nurse came in at 11am and sent her home. No Asthma protocol was followed the Nurse DANA basically blamed us for the lack of knowledge and and for my daughter not seeing a Pulmonologist. I on the other hand let him talk. I'm very educated my daughter has been seeing an Allergist since she was 4 years old. Her Dr has been the best when it comes to my daughter's Asthma. Dana also told me my daughter's White Count was higher then normal despite her condition he eager to release is. On Friday I got home from work with my daughter fighting to breathe O2 was 88 and pulse was 145 and a temp of 103. I rushed her to TBIRD. ER. Upon arrival I put her in a wheel chair as she was weak. I enter the ER packed full of people my daughter turns to me and says she doesn't feel good and begins to vomit because she was not able to breathe. Her body was compensating. They triage her and she continued to vomit and her eyes rolling back in her head. We waited hopelessly. The nurse came back and we went to Peds waiting area. As we were waiting my daughter was having an Asthma Attack and again started vomiting aND complaining she was seeing spots. I immediately went to get a nurse whom laughed at me and told me my daughter had to wait just like the rest of the people about 2 hrs. I was so upset, confused, I got my daughter and took her to Dignity Westgate where they immediately assessed her and gave her meds, IVs, Xray and then admitted her to PCH for Astoma Excerbation ca used by a Virus. NEVER again TBird!!!
