Got a quote from these guys. The people on the phone and in person are extremely nice and polite.
However quote was high (30-50% comparatively to other similarly licensed/bonded/insured business with similar warranty). They would not itemize the quote (labor, parts, permits, other) which is not a transparent practice.
They didn't measure duct work and didn't go around the house to count windows, doors, etc .. which means they did not do a proper load calculation for the house and properly dimension the replacement unit which will shorten the unit life if over/under dimensioned.
I'm not paying a high premium for sub-par design and professionalism.
Again, very nice people, just not the high end/high quality HVAC they claim to be.
