Do NOT call this company for door repairs. We called them as the doors the builder installed in 2012 were from Pollard and we're having problems opening them in winter / early spring. The installation is well past warranty as far as I know so we agreed to a $150 service call charge for them to come to our house to see what they could do (they were told on the phone that the doors were Pollard doors installed by the builder). After explaining to them the details of what was happening with the doors, they thought it was just a simple adjustment needed and this would take care of our problem. After waiting a month they show up, took a look at the door and say that they're not going to touch it, because they feel it wasn't installed and subsequent repairs done properly, and if they do anything they "take ownership" of the problem.

Well no kidding Pollard! Generally when you call a service tech for a REPAIR job, it's a given that we expect them to try to fix the problem with the door, and that there's a warranty with their repair work. This is why we called your company, paid for a service call, so that you can do the repair work.

Instead all we get is that you'd rather not touch it, and you conveniently get to keep the full service charge after doing absolutely nothing.

We called your office as suggested by the techs, as they suggested that maybe your office can talk with the builder to work out something. Instead we were just directed by your office to reach out to the builder ourselves (which we did), of course the builder isn't going to do anything as it's well past the Tarion warranty. When speaking to you we requested a refund on the service call since your techs did nothing (after making us wait month), or at least half of the charge, your office person said they'd speak to their boss and let us know.

We NEVER heard back after that, and repeated messages left on your answering machine have gone ignored.

Must be nice to take $150 for doing nothing (when we clearly engaged your REPAIR service for a door REPAIR).

** UPDATE AUG-2: We contacted them via email as requested and after some back and forth they stated based on their earlier site visit that they are unable to do anything with the door. They provided a 50% refund on our service call.
