Waterpark portion of resort was very nice as facilities were all in working order, decently clean, and water was warm.
As for the hotel portion of the resort, it seemed very mismanaged. After waiting in a very long front desk line (not enough staff) to check in, we went to our King suite room #201 which had been completely missed by housekeeping. Called front desk, barely got a "sorry" and we were asked to come back to front desk for a different room. Again, waited in front desk line forever then barely got a "we are sorry for your trouble." We were given a different King suite room #205 and told we were "lucky" because it was their last room available. Walked back up to #205 which had been "cleaned" only to settle in and later discover hairballs and dust bunnies, a loud out-dated room heater that barely worked, and a tube TV with a broken remote. Hotel hallways were cold and dirty. Easily visible air vents looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a couple years. Because of this first impression, we refused to eat at any of the resort restaurants. It seemed there were hotel staff living in guest rooms on the floor as well. Would have complained again but didn't want to waste any more time with hotel staff. They were always understaffed and seemed too busy to extend basic courtesy and good customer service manners. It appeared to us that the hotel needed more staff and probably different upper management. IF we ever go back it will be for the water park only by purchasing day passes so we can stay at a better hotel nearby.
