It is the oldest winery in South Africa, dating from 1685 and considered heritage listed by the Western Cape Province. It is part of the scenic route of Constancia Wines and has several mansions, restaurants, vineyards and a museum with a focus on rural slavery and the lives of slaves in the early period of the Cape colony.

Located in the suburb of Cape Town, 20 km from the Center, it is surrounded by beautiful mountains and large fields full of vineyards, countryside atmosphere of an inland city. Tour recommended for those with a tight itinerary and do not want to give up trying the great South African wines, as there are other famous wine regions such as Franschhoek and Stellenbosch that are more than 60 km away and demand more time to visit. Well touristic.
