This place is HUGE- one ticket get you into this massive castle and all the floors that are available for visitors. The outside gardens and beyond are nothing short of amazing. As far and your eyes can see is all part of Versailles. You have the stamina to walk on your feet and there still more to see if you are ready for it. The garden has a mini pond to rent row boats which is a work out but quite fun. Angelina's bakery is available purchase for dining around the castle. And there go-carts and bikes available to rent to venture around the castle/park. I would recommend this as a quick and interesting day trip for those in the Paris area. Public transit is the way to go as there is an RER C in which the last stop- about an hour trip is Versailles.
