Tara, nurse in the Neurological Unit, 9th floor, has no business working with patients and families in need of compassionate care. We were there to see my brother who is terminal. She not only kept family members from seeing their father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, but convinced another person to ask us to leave the lobby. We were not being loud or disruptive and had been allowed to wait in the lobby until Tara wanted us out of the building because I m tired of them . This is a heath professional that Lovelace wants on its staff? I totally understand the COVID concerns. The family members who were blessed enough to see my brother were never in contact with any other patients and observed all precautions. Compassionate treatment of our family as we live through this very painful time could have made a world of difference. Instead, Tara had us Insignificantly thrown out like garbage. If you are seeking compassionate care for a family member, look elsewhere!
