We have ridden bikes both ways across the bridge and have gone on the Saucelito side up to the view areas. And the City side near Cliff House for the opposite view. We love the bridge and when we are in the Bay Area we don't resist its call. We have taken thousands of pictures in all weather, day and night of the beautiful bridge.
