Bought a Camry recently and went to CMI Toyota Adelaide on west terrace. It was good initial service as I was attended promptly and looked after well. For the problem I visited, technician informed that s pretty normal for the model. After that The consulting person asked me about the service and I informed that I just bought the car and haven t book with anyone. Than he told me that I have a capped services left on my car for $120 as my car is still under warranty and newish One. At that time I still had 4000 kms to go before service. I called them couple of days ago as it s time for service and the service lady informed me that I will have to pay more than $400 for the service to which I mentioned the conversation I had with her colleague. After keeping me on hold she went to check and said that the staff member didn t check properly and she apologised for that and said she will give me 10% to compensate and also give me some loyalty program under which I will have a free service in future. But I will have to pay approximately 4 times for service against the price they gave me during visit.
That s seriously not good as it seems a marketing strategy to attract customers and later tell them to pay more and offer more things to get them.
wont recommend to anyone on higher note
