On the night of Saturday the 24th 2018, after being there since Thursday my wife asked me to take her to Molly's Seafood. After our meal I left the parking lot and did not notice the no left turn signal. I made it a left and out of no where red and blue lights on my bumper. OK, black female police officer asked for the usual and she stated there were 3 signs coming out the Walmart parking lot advising not to make a left. 1. I was not in Walmart 2 if there was a sign it was not noticeable at night. Being from Nashville and with a wife and baby in the car I thought maybe she would have a heart, well NOT. Took my license and returned 2 minutes later with a $169.00 citation, when in disbelief I said " 170.00 dollars" Officer quickly replied "no sir its 169.00...Well thanks officer for clarifying my math sure that 1.00 will help me much...unbelievable that being there spending my hard earned money in their economy she still wrote me a ticket. To top it off when I told her I didn't see the sign she then replies with well "the last thing the sign needed was lights all around it for people to see" she also says "you making that left its just as equal as going the wrong way on a street...unbelievable again.. Wow!..I didn't realize how much Brevard county needs extra money from its visitors after I had already over paid their tolls, their food and parks. So to all the people who are thinking of going to Molly's Seafood in Merritt Island be aware as she has this place picked out to make quota. Now I have 3 points on my license and a $170.00 oh excuse me $169.00 citation to pay after safely driving for 21 years. Although Floridians can tailgate and ride my bumper all day long the minute I make a mistake I pay for it with no remorse
