We made a booking in October (staying in January) ...

We made a booking in October (staying in January) and within that booking requested a carpark.

We mountain bike and store an expensive amount of equipment in our car which is why we requested it.

Under 12 hours before we were due to arrive we received a unhelpful email advising us that there are no carparks and they will provide us with alternative options on arrival.

This wasn t acceptable at such short notice so we went back to the hotel.. with no response.

We ended up foregoing our booking as we needed somewhere secure for our car. 2 days later we had still received no response from the hotel. Having now just received a blunt, unhelpful reply saying no refund will be given.

Appalling service, no apology and quite upsetting actually as we had driven 12 hours to be there.

Not acceptable and really quite disappointing.
