The Director actively abuses employees both verbally and emotionally. She encourages her employees to ignore or mistreat guests of the library that the Director considers to be undesirable people. The Board of Trustees allows her mistreatment of guests and employees even when many incidents have been brought to their attention. The Director also doesn't like children in the library so many people refuse to enter simply people of her dislike of children.
