I received an UD pack for my birthday in July. After only a couple wears, the right zipper fell off and the seams came undone. I brought back to BRC and the initial interaction was great. They told me this was the first they d seen of this, so I exchanged. After only two uses with the second vest, the same thing happened same side, same issue. I brought it back super disappointed and wanted to do a full return. I didn t take the bottles in bc honesty I didn t think about it I had two defective vests and had to visit the store related to the issue more than I should have. The first team member told me I needed to work it out with UD, or exchange for another of the vests, and there was nothing the store could do...for a product they sold me. Then the manager told me it was because I didn t have the bottles. I told them I d drop off the bottles but I at least wanted store credit at this time. The manager then told me well, those bottles are worth like $27 so we can do anything without the bottles. Oh my. I realize the issue is related to quality of UD but the fact that the store is the one selling it and where we bought it I expected better customer service given the repeat issue. They can easily work this out with UD, rather than the customer being the in between. Wouldn t recommend BRC based on the customer service and limited willingness to help...only going back so I can bring the (critical $27) bottles and get a refund.
